Hi Ladies,

I wanted to try to give you a little motivation and understanding behind why I try to structure our workouts the way that I do.  Research has really been showing the benefits that come from doing HIIT(High Intensity Interval Training).  I try to incorporate this method with our strength training,  when I add in the quick bursts of cardio, between using the dumbbells or something bodyweight.  It is also the main reason we do intervals on Fridays, AND every Tues. /Thurs. morning.  I hope this helps you to get excited about all of the huge benefits that you should be seeing/feeling.  Just remember you can do ALL these workouts but not see as many results depending on what you are eating!!  Nutrition is 80% of the Weight Loss(belly loss) equation!!  High-intensity interval training (HIIT) describes any workout that alternates between intense bursts of activity and fixed periods of less-intense activity or even complete rest. For example, a good starter workout is running as fast as you can for 1 minute and then walking for 2 minutes. Repeat that 3-minute interval five times for a 15-minute, fat-blasting workout.
